Nunnykirk opens its doors in May
Nunnykirk is holding its annual open day on Wednesday 25 May 2011.
The open day is an opportunity for prospective pupils and their parents to meet the staff and pupils and see the range of facilities at the school. Visitors can view lessons and see the pupils' work.
Older pupils act as guides on the day taking visitors around the marvelous grade one listed building and its impressive grounds set in the Northumberland countryside.
The open day is split into two sessions - the morning session runs from 10.45am to 12.30pm and the afternoon session runs from 1.45pm to 3.30pm. To find out more contact the school on (01670) 772 685.
Dyslexia is a specific learning difficulty (SpLD), often inherited and is a lifelong condition. Dyslexia is much more than the traditional definition of ‘difficulty with words’ or ‘word blindness’.
Nunnykirk School is very happy to offer a taster day for any child with dyslexia whose parents are considering sending them to the school.
