School mini-bus caught up in Morpeth flood
27 September 2012
As you can see from this dramatic photo the school mini-bus was badly affected by the floods this week in Morpeth.
The rising water levels saw it stranded in one of the town centre car parks and water had reached over the wheel arches and got into the mini-bus interior. This has resulted in dirty water on the seats and floor so it is not suitable for use at present which unfortunately means some disruption to planned activities. Alternative transport arrangements are being put in place where possible and we will keep pupils and parents updated.
Dyslexia is a specific learning difficulty (SpLD), often inherited and is a lifelong condition. Dyslexia is much more than the traditional definition of ‘difficulty with words’ or ‘word blindness’.
Nunnykirk School is very happy to offer a taster day for any child with dyslexia whose parents are considering sending them to the school.
