School opens doors to visitors

The school will be opening its doors to visitors next week (Wed 23 May) as part of the school's 30th anniversary year activities. Pupils will act as official guides around the magnificent John Dobson designed school and visitors can meet pupils and teachers and tour the school.

Northumberland land-owner and businessman John Trevelyan (38) has been appointed as Chair of Governors at Nunnykirk Centre for Dyslexia in Northumberland.

A school in Northumberland is set to 'rock' following an Awards for All grant, part of which has enabled the school to purchase instruments, a sound system and lighting to use during out of school 'rock' sessions.
